New Housing Co-op project launches

Kyloring Housing Co-operative is a new housing development initiated by Co-operation Housing which caters for people over the age of 55 or living with a disability.  Information sessions are commencing at the end of June.

Co-operation Housing is looking for a group of friendly, engaged and proactive adults to create Witchcliffe Ecovillage’s first housing co-operative for downsizers.

Future residents are involved in the development process and have the opportunity to help shape the creation of the community to their needs.

Kyloring Housing Co-operative is envisaged to be a community inspired by and designed following cohousing principles, including generous shared facilities and approximately 25 private homes, to promote a healthy lifestyle, accessibility, and social connections for successful aging in place.

The project site is centrally located within Witchcliffe Ecovillage. Witchcliffe Ecovillage is a unique residential development that is set to become one of the world’s first fully integrated villages to be self-sufficient in renewable energy, water, and fresh food produce.
